These Terms govern your use of getcarnets.com and our ATA Carnet document preparation service. By submitting an application, you agree to these terms.
GetCarnets is an independent document preparation service. We assist in preparing and submitting ATA Carnet applications to the U.S. Council for International Business (USCIB), the sole national issuing authority in the United States, and in arranging the surety bond USCIB requires. We are not USCIB, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a law firm, or a licensed customs broker.
Published prices reflect a flat starting fee that includes USCIB's basic processing fee, your surety bond, list preparation, and shipping. Because bond premiums scale with your equipment's declared value, your final quoted price may exceed the published starting price. You will receive and confirm your exact total before any payment is collected.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the equipment list, values, and serial numbers you provide. Carnet issuance and customs clearance depend on USCIB approval and foreign customs authorities; we cannot guarantee approval or guarantee that customs officials in any given country will accept a carnet without incident.
Standard, Rush, and Same-Day turnaround times refer to our filing timeline with USCIB, not to USCIB's own processing or to shipping carrier performance, both of which are outside our control. We will notify you promptly of any delay affecting your stated timeline.
You may cancel your application before filing for a full refund of our service fee. Once your carnet has been filed with USCIB, USCIB's own fees and bond premiums are generally non-refundable; our service fee refund in that case is handled case-by-case.
To the extent permitted by law, GetCarnets is not liable for missed travel, shipping, or event deadlines, or for customs delays or denials at any foreign border, beyond a refund of our own service fee as described above.
